Mizuki Hsu is a global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) strategist, keynote speaker, training designer, and facilitator who believes that inclusion is not a destination—it is built through the everyday moments that shape how people connect, lead, and belong.
She partners with organizations to transform inclusion into meaningful action through keynote speaking, learning experiences, facilitation, and authentic dialogue. By connecting business strategy with human stories, Mizuki helps leaders build trust, strengthen culture, and create environments where both people and organizations can thrive.
Her perspective is shaped by the combination of professional expertise and lived experience. As a wheelchair user for more than 30 years and a mother of three, she has experienced firsthand how systems, culture, and everyday interactions influence a person's ability to participate, contribute, and feel a true sense of belonging. Those experiences continue to shape her practical, optimistic, and human-centered approach to inclusion.
Over the past decade, Mizuki has led and contributed to DEI initiatives across global organizations, including Google, Netflix, and Asahi Group Holdings, while also partnering with multinational companies, universities, nonprofits, and public institutions as an independent speaker and facilitator. Her work bridges strategy and storytelling—helping organizations translate inclusive values into leadership, communication, and culture that people can genuinely experience.

“Mizuki delivered a keynote for International Women’s Day on the theme of '#EmbraceEquity.' When we think about equity, it is easy to focus on who belongs to the 'minority.' Through relatable examples, Mizuki challenged this way of thinking and reminded us that every individual is unique, making it difficult to simply categorize people as 'majority' or 'minority.'In an age of rapid technological advancement, her keynote offered a powerful reminder of the importance of taking an interest in one another and building mutual understanding through meaningful dialogue.“
Over the years, Mizuki has shared her perspectives through interviews, keynote speeches, panel discussions, articles, podcasts, videos, and other media appearances in Japan and internationally.
Her work explores topics including Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI), disability inclusion, inclusive leadership, corporate culture, storytelling, and the future of work—sharing practical insights that inspire meaningful action.
